Cakes (especially black forest) is very good from here. Good service after ordering

On 20th Jan 2009 I ordered for a birthday cake weighing 2.5 kg valued at Rs.725/-.from Sweet Chariot Cunningham Road Branch. It was to be delivered on 21st Jan 2009. Advance amount of Rs,200/- was paid while ordering. On 21st Jan 2009 when I went to collect the cake I was asked to pay an additional Rs.30/-.The said amount of Rs.30/- is said to be the refundable deposit for the plywood board on which the cake was placed. It is absurd. How does a customer come all the way ffrom JP Nagar to Cunningham Rd to return the Plywood Board and collect the deposit of Rs.30/-. He should be spending not less than Rs.150/- How can the bakery exopect us to carry a container to collect the cake ordered. I am planning to go to the consumers court. Lavakumar. JP Nagar

Hi Everyone, I have ordered for a cake for my friends sister anniversary from bangalorecakeshop.com.I did not do much reserach as it was urgent and I need midnight delivery.I have orderes for a eggless blackforest 1 Kg cake. I tried calling the numbers given in the site .They do not pick at all.Its just for fun they have given the mobile numbers... I have paid them 350 Rs only to deliver the cake at midnight.And finally they have delivered a smalling cake which is some 3 days old and that too 1/2 kg cake and that too on the next day at 12:00 clock in the morning.I tried calling them again and they have not picking the mobile.I tried calling them to the numbers mentioned when delivering the cake ...but thy say we are only responsible to deliver the cake..... I tried calling them 100 times they did not feel at all to lift the call. So guys please be aware of this site ..........

The cakes are one of the best you can get anywhere in the city. Both the quality and taste are very good. The other bakery items are also good. The downside are their continental food items like pasta/burger etc.. are average & a bit expensive.

LJ Iyengars bakery has been aroud for a long time. The quality is excellent. The trend of "decorating your bakery" with mirrors and lights was started by these guys.

The quality of food stuffs here s really bad, Not many varieties also . The place is not hygienic .

Cakes, pastries, buns, flavored buns, breads.....are yummy. Nut Biscuits and other varieties of biscuits are fresh always... Beda varieties are sold faster..
