Food is great ! Service can be a little slow .. and non-responsive sometimes ! The security check outside is just for show (typically Bangalorean!) - no one makes you walk thru the security box !
Well, it was about time that Bangalore, my dear city, was blessed with a half-decent Chinese restaurant. After the aberrations like Mainland China and China Pearl, with a few promising ones like Aromas of China, we can now add P!ng - the new one in Koramangala as surely a contender for the best Chinese resto in town
Its actually much more than Chinese. Their menu is slighly Pan - Asin with Nasi Goreng and some Thai dishes on their menu. I think the reason why you should be here is because of their concept - its a Dim Sum restaurant. While I have tasted Momos several times, little did I know that Dim Sum has such wide variety and that it can make a meal by itself. I mean, they have 40 varieties here! That alone makes it unique - but unlike some concepts which promise a lot but dont deliver - this one looks like a winner
Not only is the food versatile - have been there thrice and every experience has been unique - but they do not spoil it with poor service or bad ambience. Its quite pleasant overall, and is that not a rarity these days?
I went there last weekend and looks like they have introduced a set lunch kind of thing on weekends and its mind-blowing. Some of the stuff here is surely not available anywhere else in town. They have also got some amazing dessert selections that are truly mouth-watering. The Tiramisu here is a must have. Soooo good.
So folks, go ahead and dine. This one is a winner
chek out the place now. its changed, the food tastes better, esp the thai food and they have also added a coffee shop with pastries and chocolates. and great thing is the prices are slashed. Shud try it out....
went there on 31st dec. night around 8 pm. before going at around 7.15/7.30 i called them to take a reservation and on the phone they said that being 31st they wold not be in a position to take reservations.
and when i reach there with my wife and 2 daughters i see half the restaurant empty and when i ask them for a table to my surprise they say that the tables have been reserved over the phone by the guests. when i tell them y didn t they take my reservation, thye had no answer. i had to fight for a table as my kids were hungry and tired and were not in the mood of going anywhere else.
after fighting for over 20 mins i got a table and the food they served was worse than pathetic. didn;t expect mainland china to do such things.
The restaurant is a hit with me and my friends.. In expensive, fantastic mouth watering starters dipped in real good tastes.. the main course is selected by us with our choice of content and sauce.. Really good and worth the money. They serve with a smile and it makes the dining experience all the more satisfying ! Highly Recommended..
This is the place for inexpensive yet well-made Chinese food. They have a fairly detailed menu and the taste is no worse than fancy places like Mainland China and Mugen (nearby in Indiranagar) which charge a lot more. Portions are good too. Certainly recommended for satisying the occasional craving for Chinese food.
Very spicy, tadka chinese food...however, works out to be value for money...relocated a year back to a new location (behind the Reliance Fresh outlet on 80 feet road)....
