Must be visit on weekend its a good place for person who loves nature and god (Anjaneya),
we cam trace the temple is very easy its near to Ragigudda Bus Stop
Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple This is another temple built by Kempe Gowda and is natural monolith carved cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It attracts thousands of devotees every year in January on Makar sankranti Day when the sunrays fall on the Sivalinga between 17.00 hrs and 18.00 hrs. passing between the horns of the Nandi.
You feel very good & high about yourself& forget all the tensions and worries as soon as you enter the temple... especially the sreekanteshwara sannidhi in this temple.. the priest greets you with a smile and just a look at the idol makes you so happy. A very nice temple indeed.
The parvathi temple (kannika parameshwari) is a very old one. And gives you a high boost when you are inside the temple
it is really amazing to be at this temple. it's architecture is fabulous. the murthies of the god is fantastic. i think the prasadas / sweet boxes they sell there should be available at low cost , so that everbody could purchase and carry them to long distances to their loved ones.
The temple is on a small hillock and most of the times when I went there, it wasn't much crowded. Around the hillock is a park and a small Dhyana mandap on top of another hillock. The place is lush green, and a walk around the hillock would bring in a fresh feel.Ideal to visit early in the morning around 7 a.m.
Hello,I loved the temple very much, because of archtecture beauty.
One day i saw a man standing in front of God in devotion forgetting himself blowing an Intrument for God,It was beautiful sight to see,I can not forget the devotion he had towards God.
Very nice temple to visit, where Presents of Devotions is still living.
