Excellent food, but very costly fare. One paratha is 150 bucks, just to give you an idea. And the serving sizes are too small. Give it a try if you don t care what the final bill looks like.
At first glace, I was quite impressed by the ambiance. The menu card is very creatively designed as well. We ordered Vodka based Pani Puri and it tasted quite bad according to me. We then ordered a panner based starter and it was awesome. The panner melts in your mouth. We had Kadi Pakodi and Chawal, which was well done. We were taken care of by a guy called Alfred and he was very hospitable and helpful and not the types who are just interested in forcing you to order the most expensive dish on the menu. Oye! Shabaaashe. Mainu vada changa laga ji.
Good quality of food and the service was prompt and cordial. We have been visiting this restaurant for 3 times and the 4th time, we found cockroaches in the side of the table, then under the (empty) plate they laid on the table for serving the dish on it. We called Mr. Singh, presumably the owner sitting in the cash desk, who was not even apologetic. We stopped going there.
the food is more or less same as you would find in other restaurants specializing in north indian cuisine. they could do better by offering more promotional offers and making the restaurant more visible in terms of marketing and branding.
plus, do not expect to be treated a in a pure rustic village setting as the name suggests
The most memorable place for me i had my love life at its full bloom & the environment of this place shooted it up....food remains the same nothing new in taste but the service was good & quick....
Buffet will coast you around Rs.222(inclusive of tax). Book for terrace seats. Nice Bangalore view from 13th flr. Food quality is not bad. Worth for 222.
