This is a perfect place to totally unwind with your beloved or your family. Wear completely casual clothes, which makes things easier. Do not worry about being formal. The drinks and the light eats are great. But as am not much of a continental fan, my comments on the food are reserved. But to give my advice, dont go there for the food, its for the ambience. Right beside a glistening pool, with the buzz of chennai nightlife visible from the top, this is the place for just relaxing. Service is great, and at your leisure. Priced heavily, but not for frequent venturing. Go there for the experience.

the restaurant is pretty good, im from the US and went to this place with a friend, it really did make me feel like im in some US place...in the indianess of the chennai, its a actually a different atmosphere...u should try it

The moment you enter this place there is snobbishness every where. The welcome host and the service is the same. The food is average and the price is high. I did not feel a like a guest here. I hope things will get better as the ambience is fantastic which is ruined by snobs around.

Another of those bungalows made over into a fine eatery, Cedars (Sunday only)brunch buffet is terrific. Go there after a strenuous workout- the portions & variety demand to be done justice to. The food is faintly reminiscent of Indian cooking - brinjals & lentils et al. Authentic meditaranean food with the pictures & artefacts to give the create the right ambience. Those who like their grub hot n spicy might find it rather bland.
