For those veggies in town, Newyorker is an amazing place to taste some of the world s vegetarian cuisines. Be it Indian or continental they serve excellent food. I have been there a few times and tried from Pasta based soup to Indian chola puri and they all taste good. I would strongly recommend this place for vegetarians wishing to try a variety of cuisines.

the restaurant is pretty good, im from the US and went to this place with a friend, it really did make me feel like im in some US place...in the indianess of the chennai, its a actually a different atmosphere...u should try it

Not a big restaurant. The newly constructed A/C dining hall on the 1st floor is really good, except that it is a bit cramped. There's only one waiter handling all the tables in the hall (and that's around 10), so be ready to wait for your food, especially when the hall is full. As the name suggests, kebabs are a speciality here. Also rumali rotis are good. The tandoori items are too good. You get good quantity if you order the Chinese food, like fried rice and noodles. Briyani is a bit oily and the gravys are good too. I would suggest eating here once in a while, like maybe twice in a month. Good food, reasonably priced, only if the place was a little bigger, it would be a lot more better. And I guess the restaurant is open only for dinner.

this hole-in-the-wall joint is best for a colleger. the food served is too tasty but at a very affordable price. located close to the college, it is very popular with bachelors and students. you always notice people waiting in queues to get in. one bit of advice though - not a place for family/girls!!!

what if madras doesnt have a mcdonalds? marrybrown has managed to lead in this segment in this city. their chilly cheese burger and hot touch chicken burger are very good. they have started selling kati rolls of late. try this joint. no match for the taste or quality of mcdonalds, but not bad either.
