Sigree is one of the best resturants in Chennai if not the best. This seems to be one of the few places where a roti is like a roti and if you like your roti or naan crisp they make it so without ruining it. Great food, lots of space, good air conditioning, the size of the serving is good. All in all a place to have a good meal.

The name is Kabul but the soul is kitsch North Indian. The dishes have nothing of the Peshawari flavour. There is a uniform *Tandoori-from- a-satchet* taste in all the dishes. The chicken gravy had too many bones, the biryani lacked character- it wasnt bad but didnt make an impression either. As a *Northie* joint, it would just about scrape through but with the expectations built up by the name, it fails to deliver. Desserts were gulab jamoon & gajar ka halwa. It doesnt get more *Northie* than this :-(
