Tucked away in the posh residential neighborhood of Neelankarai was a surprise in store for me. I had visited the erstwhile Buena Vista resort - which was run down and not maintained properly. But this place, I was told that was bought over by the new management, has been fully re-done, though the rooms were being worked upon when I landed up with a group of friends. It was raining that night, despite this there were a few tables at this bar, 9ft High, which were occupied by couples, groups and professionals (I guess straight from their office). The ambience along with friendly service adds to the picture perfect setting of a calm beach, which is seen from the bar. The captain made sure we were seated comfortably; the blinds were open for the ocean view while they asked us our preference. The music plays in the background & it’s not loud as I find in some of the watering hole. The food was good, though couple of specific dishes requested by my friends weren t available. The rates are quite reasonable, though priced less compared to a 5 star hotel in town. We spent a cool 3 hours in the serene setting conversing about everything from sports to work to new gadgets and what not. I have repeatedly visited this place after my first experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a quite setting for a comfy evening. Just call & book before you land up if you driving from a far away place.

Good place to spend a weekend party. good DJ and ambience, decent crowd but at times it gets a bit over corwded with below standard crowd due to reasons known only to the management :)

This place sux big time, dirty place, staffs with attitude, needs change in management, its like dungeon in there
