one of our friend recommended us to visit PANCHVATI GAURAV, on sunday it was full we had to wait for almost 20 minutes, but i found it was worth waiting , excellent food nd service was very good, nd even tried at their branch at Andheri there also good food nd very good service,
well the food is just great....rajdhani thali pales when compared with thakker...the mouth watering food is just lovely......mesmorizing....the food is relly gd....worth a visit...reaching there is a big prob bt then the lovely fd makes u forget everyhng....it has also one the times food guide award twice fr best gujarati thali in mumbai!!!!!!!! must go !!!!
The food here is simple, typically Indian, and Gujju. Served in Thali with unlimited serving, food is good (not very great though!)
Service : Extremely Good, you need not wait to call the waiter, they are always around.
Timing: Instant, no waiting
Somewhere you can go with your family, even elderly and traditional people in your family.
Ambience: Good
Cost: 300 per person on an average
Demerit: very small and shallow bowls - need filling many times.Probably the cost factor accounted for in here...not everybody will be comfortable asking many times for the same thing...
Bowl could have been a little deeper
Merit: many items. More chapati's/puri be served in a single serve rather than waiting for calls
Overall experience - 2.5 out of 5, i give 3 stars though..
Excellent Gujrati thali. The crawford market, original branch far better than the other brnaches, especially kaka (owner) who himslef serves and urges to have an extra roti or 1 more --- snack . Parking can be found pay and park at crawford mkt.
