the buffet was decent. It didnt have too many dishes. But the quality was good. Overall worth the 250 bucks.

    "good place to dine"

its a good place to dine..with variety..and ambience.
not that expensive...especally if you are eating your heart out after a long marathon walk from one end of MG road to other and then a whole round of bangalore central....though parking might cause a bit prob..and service is leisure which is hard to find in bangalore itself..so no complaints

    "Wonderful"

I went to Copper Chimney twice while I was in Bangalore. As an American I found this place to be wonderful. The food was delicious and the service very good. They list the kabobs as appetizers on the menu however most of them are large enough to be a full meal. I tried the Chicken Chelo Kabob the first time and the Chicken Malai Kabob the second. Both were delicious!

I sat on the balcony and it has a wonderful view of the city. If you can ignore the honking from the traffic below then it is the place to sit.

It was also perfect walking distance from my hotel (Royal Orchid Central).

    "Moderate spread for buffet"

They had nice starters - some veg kofta/cutlet kinda stuff. the other dishes were just about ok. The paneer stuff was good. Dessert was passable. The ambience makes it for a nice, bright place. I think the food is a trifle expensive. Their famed Dal Makhani doesn't figure on the buffet (atleast the day i went). That's a must have along with their tandoori platter, if you're ordering a la carte.
