"Snacks, Bakes and Gelatos"
The daily bread shop in Vyalikaval has got excellent bakery stuff - varieties of Breads - sourdough, multigrain, rye, masala loaf etc apart from the staples. It also stocks a variety of imported snack accessories like olive oil, gherkins, olives, spreads etc.
I really like their Gelato stall - De Luca's gelato, with their various flavours. Also they have a bunch of sandwiches and short eats which i'm yet to give a try. They stock imported cheeses - didn't know that cheese can get so expensive!
Obviously, with all these things, you can't expect the prices to be reasonable, can you?
