aaah...MTR!! The name itself makes my mouth fill up wit saliva!!..
a must visit place!...never did i know tat south indian food can taste this good..the food is so rich tat u have to plan ur meal b4 itself...an extra serving of 1 dish will fill up ur stomach and u'll b left repenting tat u had not had it cos the very nxt dish will b even more mouth watering...trust me...ive been in tat situation tons of times!

and its unlimited for a really affordable price(considerin the inflation situation in india)...its dead cheap!..and the place is so clean tat it was one of the very few places in the country tat got the nod of the British Sanitation and Cleanliness Dept...tat is a fact!

if u came to bangy and dint visit this place...ur missin somethin special!..and if ur a b'lorean and u haven gone to this haven of dishes then WATS WRONG WIT U!!!

Would not want to go back to MTR having gone there some 3-4 times and waited till you are no longer in mood to eat !!
Go if you want to experience good Masala Dosa and thali ! Food is amazing...just that the waiting period kills your urge to enjoy that food..
Kids are a big no, as they get very cranky after long waiting time!

MTR is the name for purity, excellent taste in food. This is my own experience at MTR.

This place is probably not for the non-locals of Bangalore.
MTR has retained it's old world charm in terms of ambience and the taste even now, which is an attraction in itself to the local Bangalorean.
The Masala Dosa's are the best available in Bangalore. Their lunch is the typical South Indian fare served in Bangalore homes during festival, and is awesome.

This is the reason why you will find this place always crowded, inspite of not having any parking facility, being crowded and the 'old ambience'.
