MTR Restaurant

Well MTR can be visited just to refreshen your old memories , those were the times when it was visited by a person who happen to visit the near by market theatres & especially Lal Bagh. it was much popular with the office goers community for breakfast & lunch .As of now it is not very happening place due to its location ,inner & outer look.MTR group should come out with its branches at various upcoming malls to get its popularity back among the young generations too.As the idlis still taste as gud as the earlier times.

Great legacy but that doesn't cut it for this generation....took forever to get a table...neither the food nor the experience was worth the wait or the journey!

(PS - try making a round of their kitchen....you'll never go back)

Serves excellent South Indian food.. We ate thalli during dinner time, food was awesome. But, do not expect much from ambiance. Its pretty old and dark...

you should go for taste....one of the best in bangalore hotels.

I went to MTR expecting a lot and walked through spotlessly clean kitchens in anticipation.After getting a place, wow, achievement in itself we ordered only to be told half the items are over. And so it went. Highly overrated food, dark interiors and i feel their packeged products are much better.
Three cheers for Adiga in Basavanagudi. Their coffee is to die for.
