Good masala dosa (worth the wait), just the right size with the right amount of oil and crispiness. Maddur vada is a good add-on.

Commonly know as Central Tiffin room bang opposite malleswaram grounds is joint that provides the true spirit of old malleswaram( bangalore) with wooden furtinture, always crowded ... check out maddur vada also aprt from the dosa ...good joint to vsist in evening ( ofcourse need to have patience to get around the crowd.) not so cheap any more but it worth every penny

This is an unassuming 20th century eatery (i think they're older than my dad!). They have those olden days' wooden tables and stools. The place is always crowded and one'll have to wait atleast for 15 minutes to cram into the place available. But come the benne masal, mysore bonda, vada etc, and you just forget all the pain of sitting cramped. These are as tasty as they get. Frequently the place runs out of masala dosa dough and you will probably have to wait to get your order. For all the stomach-filling experience, you'll find that you pay extremely reasonable amounts. A must-try place if you're in Malleshwaram.
