"Average main course, spoiled dessert"

As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a smiling hostess who warmly welcomed us into the restaurant. The ambience is pleasant - no harsh lighting.
The AC was a tad low so it was a tad stifling. Or probably the seats we were given had poor air circulation.
Staff was warm and courteous. Good choice of food to choose from. Quantity was just perfect.
Their boneless roast lamb dish was horrible. The lamb was tough despite instructions to have it cooked tender.
Chicken is a safer bet.
Dessert was lemon meringue with strawberry coulis. There was some kinda pineapple pastry thingy with 2 strawberrys (which were very sour). The pastry was cracked up and was stinking. I tried to taste it and literally threw up. The cream was probably spoiled.
I've had lemon meringue before and this was nothing like it. Even after I went home and brushed my teeth, the awful taste of that pastry still lingered on.
My recommendation: Have chicken here, go to corner house or barista for dessert.
