"VB Vs MTR"
The Dosas are very good. One of the best in Bangalore.
I would still rate the MTR Dosa higher, because it is less oily.
The Vidyarthi Bhavan Dosa is undoubtedly the next best Dosa in Bangalore.

"Great for early-morning hangover cure"
Okay, I'm only partly kidding -- I've ended up here in the wee hours of the morning after an all-night/morning of getting drunk while listening to classic rock. But seriously, their masala dosas are crazy awesome.
Not only are the dosas made with pure ghee, but when served it comes with a generous dollop of butter too. That and a cuppa filter coffee -- perfect.

"One word - "Awesome""
Awesome masala dosas (I would dare to say that these are the best I have ever had). Figure out how to beat the crowd and visiting this place will be worthwhile.
Combined with the old world charm (of the building and the neighborhood), I would very highly recommend it.
Beats the much hyped MTR hands down anyday.
