"Excellent food, music, ambience and of course the beer"

The place is a haven if you want to spend time eating some great food, guzzling down mugs of beer, catching up with some friends, even watching the Australian Open, all while listening to some really AWESOME music. I'm in love with the place!

The food is very good - from the Kerala beef fry, pork curry/fry, rice & Kerala ulli theeyal, kappa & fish curry, appam & chicken stew, shredded beef fry, fish fry, prawn & squid to the peanut masala and even the lime soda, everything is too good. On weekdays, they have executive meals, which is a steal at Rs.120 for a bowl of rice, rotis, dal, sambar, curd, fish fry, papad, salad and I don't remember what else. All the other dishes are priced between 50 to 150 for starters and around 200 for Kappa etc. A pint is only 90 bucks and mug, 50. You don't get any alcohol other than beer.

The last time I went, a 3 hour meal for 3 people including beers and starters was around 1100 bucks. The service is also really good.

It was good pub with good music and good service. Food was quite good. I had been there with my friend. It is reasonably priced. The ambience is decent. You can try it once.

Since the place is called 'Windsor Pub', the operative word here being PUB, the first stereotypical image that pops into someone's mind is, dark, loud music and minimal food. well these are the precise ingredients left out of this pub. It's well lit, reasonably considerate volume of music (God forbid you might want to have a conversation with your company) and simply divine costal and continental food. Even if you do not drink it's a place where you won't feel out of sync. a majority of the regulars belong to the 'older' generation but that doesn't mean they're the only regulars. You have a wide range of age groups who frequent the place too, especially those who love the original R&B and Jazz greats such as Dave Brubeck and Miles Davis. So if you're tired of the loud, thumping rock music you hear at most pubs this would most certainly be a place for you. It most certainly also doubles up as a good restaurant to go to with the family, a sunday lunch the perfect time to relax, enjoy a beer, listen to some jazz and take all the time you want liersurely enjoying some good old costal food.
