Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant

Visited the one in Anna Nagar. Serves the best Tamil style non-veg food in Chennai!

The ambience ,service and the quality of food are all deteriorating.The anna nagar Anjappar was said to be renovated still the interior is dark and stinky .The chairs too are not comfortable,because even a person of normal stature would have to stoop and eat.high time they took notice and recover.

IN GENERAL THE QUALITY, HOUSE KEEPING ARE NOT GOOD. SOME OF THE RESTAURANTS ARE RUNNING WITHOUT AC.

Anjappar at nungapakkam is very nasty and ugly.. Anna nagar anjappar is the best

I normally choose Anjappar over all other Chettinad restaurants but for the past two months, both the food and service has deteriorated considerably. The food is surely 100% not how it used to be. The meat used is far worse and the waiters prefer you were not there. I am really disappointed because I thought Anjappar could maintain high standards and not get carried away by hordes of customers. I have tried Anjappar in near the central station and also near Chrompet and both have completely lost their charm that I have decided not to go for them anymore. I had moved from Ponnusamy about a year back to Anjappar due to its quality food but now I have to try Ponnusamy again to see if they have recovered.
