I am a regular here and take a liking to this joint and the simple food that can turn you on. But it is worthy of being called a South Indian restaurant only by those who call anyone from below Maharashtra a Madrasi. I stick to calling it Udupi style simple and tasty full meals.

i'm a regular here since my college days- ie 1976, nothing has changed here since then--food, service, cleanliness and the management. A truly favourite for delicious south indian food. one should give it a try once in lifetime.

One of the finest restuarants for having authnetic, homely and specifically udipi vegeterain food amidst the noisy trains passing through the Matunga Central railway station!

I first went to the restaurant a few years back. At that time the unlimited meal was cheaper. Though the rates have increased in these times of inflation, the food continues to be the same,simple, tasty & wholesome. What draws your attention is the cleanliness & the quick service. If one wants to have a taste of South Indian vegetarian fare, this is the place for it. The who's who of this city are ofen found having a meal here. I once met Vivek Oberoi's mother here. A lot of politicians frequent the place, like ex mayor Babubhai Bhawanji. I would recommend this place to anyone whose looking out for a good meal.
