Looking for that elusive great eatery that doesn't leave you craving for that extra tikka or that last bite from the sheekh? Wondering how kebabs tasted if u had the grill right under your nose? Repenting the choice of your last resteraunt that flattered, only to deceive? The answer to all these prayers lies at a non-descript corner at the fag end of Ambedkar Road in Bandra (W), at a warm, energetic & crowded place called Barbeque Nation.
While the coal grill at each table takes the cake by far in terms of making those endless rounds of kebas just right for your taste, what surprises is the buzz about the place, everyone seems to be excited and animated, a happy thing if u are the owner. The main course is OK, nothing more than that, and the desserts are definitely above average - but then most people don't seem to go that far & get semi-wasted on the succulent & mouth watering offering of veg & non-veg kebabs.
All in all, a place worth much more than what you pay for (400 bucks per person seems extremely reasonable). Definitely worth a return trip.

The coal grill in the table is a unique aspect I have not seen in other Mumbai restaurants. (I could be mistaken). At Rs. 400/- per person the buffet is not that expensive. Lovers of non-veg food would love this restaurant more than veggies, although you get both. The wine collection is good, complementing the food you get there. I am no food connoisseur but I liked the food I ate. Two thumbs up from me.

they have the buffet dinners which is simply exellent., with a good variety for veggies and non veg, they start off from kababs with a good spread of main course and salads.
the service is superb and you wouldnt look around more than a min to grab the attention of the steward.
the wine list though not very comprehensive, is good enough to compliment the food.
a bit expensive- but worthwhile
