    Toscano- vittal mallya road

Posted 13 months agoCategory: Italian Restaurants
"Lovely food- wish the ambience was more private"
In the my office building as part of food court which isn't too bad if it was not for the yummy but noisy rajdhani next door. The decor is lovely and quite chic but because it's not cordoned off the 'outside' can really invade the otherwise private and subdued setting. On to the food- limited menu but delicious. Simple, rustic, fresh and you can actually taste the subtle bit of the food. Food without the heavy sauces and obvious 'restaurant' feel. Beat's 'Sunny's' for me. Deserts not too bad but limited- wish there was more here. 2 thumbs up- only downer is the fact that it's not an enclosed space so private and quiet dinner?- you may want to try somewhere else for that. A relaxed meal with freinds and family- perfect!

    Cafe Masala- brigade road

    "Great food but..."
Team outing at Cafe Masala. We have been there before and each time it doesn't disappoint. The ambiance is nice and airy (it's on the roof of eva mall), the service is unintrusive and the food!...lets not get started. The buffet is probably biggest in terms of variety (indian and western) and quantity. You could have a great dining experience munching on the starters! So what's the "but" in the title? Well....we were told that the food at Cafe Masala could help in getting gossip out of a certain "S". Despite the offer of free fantastic food...the pizza and salad starter...the biriyani and lasagne main course...and the mint and chocolate dessert failed to do the trick. "S" sat mum happily munching refusing to disclose anything...sigh...note to self: next time make it perfect by ordering a bottle of wine. That may just do the trick and make it perfect. Nevertheless we had a great time :) and we'll miss our very own 'local' friend "S". cheers s!
