I'd heard quite a bit about the mediterranean ambience and the friendly food at Casa Del Sol. When we actually went there for lunch, i couldn't help but feel disappointed. Nevertheless, i went ahead and ordered some pasta that looked like one of those home-made white-sauce based teatime snacks. For the money that we paid, i don't think this place is worth it. There are other places in town where you can go and enjoy a nice monsoon afternoon.
They had nice starters - some veg kofta/cutlet kinda stuff. the other dishes were just about ok. The paneer stuff was good. Dessert was passable. The ambience makes it for a nice, bright place. I think the food is a trifle expensive. Their famed Dal Makhani doesn't figure on the buffet (atleast the day i went). That's a must have along with their tandoori platter, if you're ordering a la carte.
Really nice ambience, with walkways on stone slabs partly submerged in water, waterfalls along the walkway walls etc. There seem to be lot of feng-shui inspired interior design elements. the menu is as extensive as other 'aromas...' outlets and the service is definitely good. the spicy corn starters were impressive. other food is just the usual aromas stuff. the pricing is definitely on the higher side.
Chor bizarre is an interesting place - with a very thrown back and retro decor, especially the car etc. I have been there for a dinner and found that the chat is something that you will find tasty. The main course is quite standard but the desserts are quite tasty. Would recommend this place for a leisurely dinner with some cocktails thrown in.
