This place serves some of the best rolls i've ever had in my life. The kababs come right off the skewers and they just melt in your mouth. The flavor and the seasoning on them is just about perfect. A must try here is the Mutton Sheekh Kabab roll. It was so good, that after we had it first, the very next day, we drove down from Noida, just to have one more! Trust me on this, your mouths will never salivate like they will once you have their rolls :)
If you are one of those guys who feels like having this elaborate continental breakfast every now and then, make sure you try out this place at least once. Plus it's a great way to just relax right on Park Street. For people starting their day late, worry not if you can't make it to this place early in the morning, coz they serve it all day! The "All Day Breakfast" they serve has 2 slices of toast, one fried egg, 2 strips of bacon, some sausage and a hash brown, surely a great way to start your day! And the food is good, really good. The make some mean omelets as well. The service was decent and we got our food in good time. The bakery right next dishes out some sweet stuff as well, the cakes especially are too good. I found the place to be a bit overpriced though, but what the hell, it was kinda worth it.
This place has won a Times Food Guide Award for Best South Indian food and rightly so! The decor might be dated (pretty sure it's been unchanged for quite some years now), and there's nothing much to write about the ambiance or the service, instead expect a no frills South Indian restaurant where the food is just awesome. The menu is standard Udupi restaurant fare, with several permuations and combinations of the items Dosa, Ghee, Cheese, Masala, Rava, Plain and so on. The Dosas are just right, and you could easily gobble up a few. And you would struggle to find a fault with the chutney and sambhar you get with it, almost perfect. The coffee, juices you get there are equally good. What more could you ask for?
As with most of the other BJN group restaurants, the food here is good, probably not great though. The variety is not the greatest, the buffet menu i guess is a bit predictable but in the end it scores for the food. Service was pretty good as well. And at 249 + taxes, it's definitely value for money.
