I know this place, even before they renovated the hotel. The food quality has remained absolutely the same. The best place i have ever had chicken tikka. Their gravy dishes are fantastic and their naans are mouth watering.
Service is fair. Prices are mildly on the higher side, but definitely manaegable. Valet parking saves you the headache.
A place where you can come over and over again.
Although, strict vegetarians might not enjoy the fare too much.

Once upon a time,(not in china!), chinese food was synonym with wangs kitchen. But, there is something dreadfully wrong with what they do over here. Its been ages since i went, maybe things have improved now. But i do not have the courage to try again.
Every single time i went before, i had upset stomach, and was diagnosed as having food poisoning!
Too much of soda bicarb added in all their preparations.
If you want sick leave, and want to be authentic about it. Then i guess, this is an easy way out!

This is not your average south indian fare, but a highly polished version of it. The taste is made for expats, so if you are the spicy loving type, you will have to request for the same. Everything from the ambience to the service is 5 star just like the price. Royal treatment from start to finish.
Lotus stem fry is one of their rare specialities. The quantities are generous. A place to get spoilt. Personally, for me, it has been one for the occasions. Psst... if its your birthday, they do a special aarthi too!

This is a perfect place to totally unwind with your beloved or your family. Wear completely casual clothes, which makes things easier. Do not worry about being formal. The drinks and the light eats are great. But as am not much of a continental fan, my comments on the food are reserved. But to give my advice, dont go there for the food, its for the ambience. Right beside a glistening pool, with the buzz of chennai nightlife visible from the top, this is the place for just relaxing.
Service is great, and at your leisure. Priced heavily, but not for frequent venturing.
Go there for the experience.
