Andhra food that tastes like it was made by me (if you haven t guessed yet, I am not the best Andhra food cook around). Starters that uniformly feel like random crispy stuff dipped in random red paste. Cocktails that seem to have been mixed by a random number generator. And worst of all, waiters who think you d be very interested in having long conversations with them.
...there is a lot of charm in sitting outside in the terrace restaurant, munching on your greasy Masala Dosa, and watching the pigeons in the adjacent building, or the traffic down below. Damn! Nostalgia, I tell you...
Long before the Chung-Wah chain became ubiquitous in Bangalore, this used to be the only one. And was the first choice for a lot of people who wanted their Chinese food without the Indian flavour in it. There are a whole bunch of better oriental joints these days - but Chung-Wah is as good as any of them. Worth a try!
