    located in the aruna hotels complex, tandoor restaurant serves some really good north indian dishes. the food is very rich in terms of the ghee and presentation. very tasty otherwise.

    "simple and delicious"
    located in Days Inn near the old Ajanta hotel, this is a very simple vegetarian restaurant serving multi-cuisine. I enjoy their rotis and paneer butter masala a lot. their pulav is also very decent. best thing about this restaurant is that they hold food festivals very frequently. i once tried their tamil nadu food festival and it was very good.

    "best biryani in chennai"
    ponnusamy hotel is very well known for its non vegetarian food. the biryanis especially chicken is too good here. vegetarians can avoid this place totally, there isnt much choice for you!!!

    this is an immensely popular chettinad restaurant. their food is tasty, spicy and authentic chettinad too. but ignore their service and professionalism.
