one of the most popular dhabbas in chennai, dhabba express have grown very fast in chennai. my favorites here are their aloo paratha, tadka dal, vegetable kadai, aloo mutter and their biryani. their tandoori chicken, lassi and jal jeera are fabulous!!!

despite growing steadily, this restaurant serves some really bad food. nothing tastes good. there are whole lot of better chinese restaurants in town..

undoubtedly the best thai restaurant in chennai. an old bungalow on ttk road is converted as this restaurant. immediately after you enter, you notice a thai woman carving vegetables into interesting shapes. check out the betel leaf kinda platter that is served initially. put your ginger, coconut, onion, jaggery and chillies on this leaf and it tasts fabulous. i found their menu a little hard to read/remember as they are named in thai. their soups are very good and so is their rice. their curries are also fabulous. wonderful place, wonderful food!!!
